Thank you to the Staten Island Foundation for believing in our mission and granting us this opportunity! Over the next eight months, with the support of the Diamond Matching Grant Program, an initiative of the Staten Island Foundation, the Pride Center of Staten Island will launch specific special events and campaigns where your donations and sponsorships will be matched

$2 for every $1 you give.

The Pride Center is more than a place — it’s a lifeline.

We provide a brave space where Staten Island’s LGBTQIA+ community has direct, local access to vital supports such as:

  • Free Mental Health Counseling

  • STI & HIV Testing and Education

  • Cultural Awareness Workshops

  • Youth & Senior Services

  • Therapy Dog Program

  • Community Events 

Every dollar you give helps save lives, reduce isolation, and ensure that no one in our community is left without support.

Your donation impact can mean so many things. Here are some examples of where your donation can help:

  • $25 covers one free counseling session for someone in crisis.

  • $50 provides one training workshop for one potential dog therapy dog.

  • $1000 helps us run youth or senior support programs that reduce loneliness and foster belonging for one individual for the month.

#Pass The Pride- The Confetti Challenge- Diamond Match Campaign

Our community continues to face cuts to funding, resources, and the loss to safe spaces. Not to mention the rollback of basic human rights. Equality means treating everyone the same, but equity means giving people what they actually need to thrive. And right now, we are being denied both.  

That’s why we’re launching Pass the Pride, the confetti challenge— a campaign to raise funds, pass support filled with hope and resources, so no one in our community is left behind! 

Thanks to the Diamond Match Grant, an initiative from the Staten Island Foundation, Today through June 2026 , you have the unique opportunity to make your support triple in impact. For every dollar you donate to this specific campaign, they will double your donation. (up to $100,000.00.)

So how can you participate?

Step 1: Make a donation on our website above, look for the tab that says pass the pride donation, and make your donation there. 

 Step 2: Use your smartphone to create a quick video capturing your pride donation, nominating a friend or 2 to pass the pride, and finish the video off with a unique confetti moment celebrating , and post it on your social media. Don't forget to use #passthepride, and to tag the Pride Center of Staten Island in your posts. 

To continue the excitement and fun, for everyone who completes these 2 steps, you will be entered into a raffle to potentially win $500 dollars in door dash credits!
